Writing Keyword Rich Text By Lori Osterberg How much information is on your site? Not just various articles, paragraphs and blurbs pertaining to a wide variety of topics. How much information is related directly to your keywords, and written exclusively for your site and your products and/or services? More and more, search engines like Google are utilizing the text and copy from your entire site, not just your meta tags as in the past. Spend your time writing good quality text using your keywords and phrases throughout your site. Really concentrate on a content rich site. Keyword rich text is crucial for success and high ranking within the search engines. Begin with your home page. You need to write for your two separate clients: the search engines and your client base. If you don’t use your keywords and phrases enough, you won’t be placed high in the search engines. But if you repeat your keywords over and over again, you’ll lose the interest of your client. Write sincerely and from the heart, and write to specifically target what you are trying to sell. Don’t try to use dozens of keywords. Instead, focus on 3 to 4 keywords, and use them in a very exclusive way. Write for what your client wants and is searching for, and the ranking process will follow. Then block out a certain amount of time every week to add content. Great sites aren’t built over night. Just as a great company takes years to build, take the time to invest in the content of your site. It will build quickly even with only 30 minutes of development a week. The key is to really focus on whom you are writing to, and how you can help them the most.
